About the Boise State University Foundation

A nonprofit Idaho organization, the Boise State University Foundation was established in 1964 for the benefit of Boise State University.  The Foundation’s mission is to support raising funds for the University academic departments and programs and prudently manage all private funds donated to the University.  The Foundation also acts as an envoy and link between the University and its constituencies.

The Boise State University Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRS #82-6010706).  Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible.  The Foundation funds are managed by professional fund custodians and investors whose performance is reviewed quarterly by a committee of the Boise State University Foundation Board of Directors.
